Hello!

I’m Alison, and I help people create homes that feel collected, intentional, and deeply connected to place.

My approach was shaped long before design ever became a service I offered. I spent years farming in New England, Hawai‘i, and California, learning to read landscapes, honor seasonality, and work with what’s already there. That way of seeing never left me. I bring the outside in, build with intention, and design from a place of respect for materials, story, and the land that surrounds us.

I believe beauty and sustainability are inseparable and that resourcefulness is one of the most powerful tools in design. I’ve always worked with little to no budget, yet I’ve never been willing to compromise on design. That tension trained my eye: to spot the right piece in an unexpected place, to use what’s already in the room, to make small changes that shift everything.

My process is elevated but grounded, thoughtful but never fussy. Together, we look at your home in full: your story, your landscape, your rhythms, your joys. From there, we make intentional edits.  Some are immediate and others unfold slowly. Together, we will bring your home into alignment with how you want to live.

My role is not to impose a style, but to help you discover the one that’s already in you. The result is a home that feels soulful, personal, and beautifully lived-in. All without unnecessary spending or overwhelm.

If that’s the kind of home you want, I’d love to help you create it.
